Moondream Soundproof Curtain

Moondream's reversible 4-in-1 Room Divider Curtains use our own patented technology (U.S. Patent N° 9475260) with 4 layers of strategically assembled materials to obtain the best results in sound insulation that can be achieved with a fabric curtain: identical blackout fabric on each external side, one metallized thermal-insulating lining layer and one thick cotton layer inside. The curtain absorbs and stops the passage of sound waves and also provides a thermal insulation against heat and cold as well as a 100% blackout effect.

The room divider curtain can act as a wall to muffle high frequency noise such as voices. As the curtain looks identical on both sides, it is the ideal replacement for a door or as a mobile partition wall. Create an additional room and block out the surrounding hustle and bustle with just one draw of the curtain.

Our product has been tested by independant laboratories to confirm its sound, thermal and light insulation perfomance:

Noise insulation: Sound energy is divided by eight, reaching a drop of up to 9 decibels (1). Reverberation of sound in the room is also reduced and creates a quieter atmosphere, e.g. for a surface area of approximately 215 ft² the reverberation time is reduced by 0.4 seconds (2).
Thermal insulation: Up to 37% reduction of heating costs in winter (3) and a drop in temperature during summer (4).
Light insulation: 100% blackout effect for improved sleep quality.

This is a well made product that looks great. The purpose I wanted it for was sound-proofing and it's somewhat effective but not 5-star-worthy. I'm considering adding an additional panel to lessen the gap at the top and increase general absorbtion area.

Excellent curtains. I’ve searched high and low for decent sound blocking curtains. These look good, block light 100% and even reduce noise. I’m so glad I found moon dream and now I don’t have to wake up with some sudden traffic noise. I bought the window panels and a room divider panel. I still hear some noise but it’s better! I first thought these were pricey - but you get your money’s worth. Also it would cost the same from any decent brand. THANK YOU!

i bought the room divider curtains for sound. I have an office that opens directly on our waiting room. Just holding it up to the door made a big difference in the sound coming into my office. It also makes a difference with the door closed and curtain drawn on sound leaving the office. Huge improvement! Highly recommend! Also color perfect eggshell for my off white office.

The room dividers look great, provide true blackout and appear to be effective at noise reduction after a few days of use (to enclose a 3-wall dining room which I am using as a home theater).

The quality is excellent. I may need another one. It's not wide enough to really look like curtains should but may be enough to mute some noise which is really what I was after. I have them at work to cover a paper thin door.

We were thrilled with the quality and looks of the soundproof drapes we bought. And they really do work! We are in the landing pattern of an international airport and wanted to see if covering the window of our bedroom would help with the 4 am flights disturbing our sleep. They help a lot! Although we can still hear the planes,they are very muffled in comparison to what we had before these curtains. I would highly recommend these drapes and would buy them again.
