So, my expectations were low as I couldn't imagine this working in a sheer curtain, but I thought it was worth a try. The curtains exceeded my expectations. They look great, let in lots of light, and because I mistakenly only ordered one panel at first, I could compare the old curtain with the new sheer. The old curtain was always soooo much warmer with the sun shining on it. The new sheer, not warm at all. The curtains do exactly as described, and I am so happy we purchased them.

The thermals are very weirdly shiny on the inside, and I'm sure the neighbors hate the silver side that reflects back on their windows, but they work pretty well, and I like the sheer aspect, so I think I'll learn to accept the look.

The thermals sheers are "shiny on the inside" because the only way to reflect the heat is to use the same technology used for survival blankets, it means a lining waived with aluminium yarns.
This innovative fabric reflects the heat rays to keep the heat inside the room in Winter and outside in summer time. Furthermore, you can enjoy the daylight thanks to the sheer linen fabric.

Actually as expected but less thermal efficiency than desired. Did not find a more desirable product for my purposes.

Very chic look, fabric looks rich. I like how it works to insulate, but does not block the light. My diamond patterned leaded windows which are not the best for insulation, still show through adding elegance to the dining room where these have been installed.

The curtains are an interesting material. They look great in my home. In my case, I have odd size windows (old house), To have custom drapery, it would be at least 4 times the price for a similar product. These drapes cover the drafty windows but allow the beautiful diamond shaped leaded glass to show through.I'm using black tension rods to blend in with the silver/black borders on the leaded glass panels.They look amazing.
