MOONDREAM SOUNDPROOF ROOM DIVIDER CURTAINS
"My wife and I are actors and voiceover artists. We recently used Moondream room dividers to build our new home voiceover booth. Using an interior corner of our home, we applied acoustical foam to the walls and ceiling and used a ceiling track with the Moondream room dividers to enclose the 4’ x 5’ space. Thanks to the Moondream 4 layer design, most normal exterior sounds are blocked. The interior of the booth has a noise floor of less than -60dB. Ideal for voiceover recording. The stylish design is also very eye appealing. It doubles as a backdrop for our self-tape auditions. Michele and the team at Moondream were amazing, answering every question we had. "These did exactly as advertised. I got two of these for our room that's closest to a busy main road, and not only do they keep all the draft out of the room from the old windows, but they truly lowered the sound pollution in our room by 7 decibels. We used a meter to check. These have been a godsend. We can use our room without high pitched and high spiking sounds disturbing us anymore. "The curtains are a nice color and texture. They keep out a significant portion of light. There are many factors involved in noise being heard from outside, so unless you address all factors, no room will truly be outside noise-proof; but, the curtains do dampen the noise from outside, without taking any other steps to eliminate the other factors." "These curtains look great, very well made and have an upscale look to them. The curtains are very thick and provide almost 100% room darkening. I live about 250 ft from an major interstate highway and was looking for a product that helped with the noise. Because I live so close to the highway, there is no way of completely blocking out the sound, but these curtains have drastically dampened the noise. I have another brand of soundproof/room darkening curtains on the main level of the house and the Moondream curtains definitely rate much higher in quality and effectiveness." (G. Karl)
