Moondream Soundproof Curtain

The Moondream Soundproof Curtain uses our own patented technology (U.S. Patent N° 9475260) with 3 layers of strategically assembled materials to obtain the best results in sound insulation that can be achieved with a fabric curtain. Our product has been tested by independant laboratories to confirm its perfomance.

Sound insulation: Noise reduced by four-fold, reaching a drop of up to 7 decibels (1). Reverberation of sound in the room reduced for a quieter atmosphere, e.g. for a surface area of approximately 215 ft² the reverberation time is reduced by 0.4 seconds (2).
Thermal insulation: Up to 37% reduction of heating costs in winter (3) and a drop in temperature during summer (4).
Light insulation: 100% blackout effect for improved sleep quality.

Used this product to place in an open door to our laundry room. As it didn't completely stop the noise, what it did do was muffle all the harsh noise to the rest of the hous and make is very tolerable. Great product

: While the curtains were of quality material, they have stopped absolutely no noise from coming into the room. You really should not advertise these curtains as being soundproof, that is false.

I live 100 yards from a freeway. My upstairs bedroom was killing me. The soundproof curtains didn't completely kill all sound, but knocked it down substantially. Probably the best description was muffled it down...the harsh, hard sounds I heard were gone. So I am very happy.

I was looking for the best sound blocking drapes I could find. I live about 100 yards from a busy freeway. the drapes have worked extremely well blocking the sun in the morning. they have worked good as sound blockers. the sound is definitely reduced. So I am happy with my purchase

I am very satisfied with the product. I really would like to get one more curtain - Soundproof Pelican affect but alas it seems to be discontinued. The drapes are beautiful and make a world of difference in. Locking light and sound

There is a noticeable difference in noise and light entering my bedroom. Some people have stated that the curtains have an odor, but that is not the case with these. I like them so much, I plan on buying another pair for a different room.

These block almost all light and muffle sound very well. Can still hear the next door neighbor's truck (with no muffler) crank up but it is not as loud as before!

Live near a railroad and bought these hoping it would take the edge off some of the train noise (single-pane sliding glass door in the bedroom). I chose these curtains because it was a cheaper option - will replace the doors later at some point. Starting with the obvious - these curtains are NOT going to totally block out all sounds. They seem to work better with higher frequencies but they actually do dampen the noise enough to where I can now sleep without earplugs. These curtains DO however almost completely block out all light. If you're one of those people who wake up to the sun rising you might want to set an alarm clock for the first couple weeks. Light doesn't come through these curtains at all (which was an added bonus to me). Made of good quality material. Color was about a shade darker then I expected (Pelican). Grommets are very elegant looking though. Very nice looking curtains. Overall it was a positive purchase and will buy me the time I need to save up for better doors.
