The Moondream Soundproof Mars Curtain uses our own technology with 3 layers of strategically assembled materials to obtain the best results in sound insulation that can be achieved with a fabric curtain. Our product has been tested by independant laboratories to confirm its perfomance.

Sound insulation: Noise reduced by four-fold, reaching a drop of up to 15 decibels (1). Reverberation of sound in the room reduced for a quieter atmosphere.
Thermal insulation: Up to 37% reduction of heating costs in winter (2) and a drop in temperature during summer (3).
Light insulation: 100% blackout effect for improved sleep quality.

Doesn’t really cancel much noise

Hello, Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry that you are not satisfied with your Moondream order. As you know the noise is a complicated matter, it depends of the kind of noise you're experiencing and also the construction of your building. In the meantime allow me to provide you some additional information regarding our Soundproof curtain. Our curtains are engineered to block as much as a fabric can , external sounds and noise. This is why as you may have noticed - they are heavy and made up of multiple layers. Even if you do not notice a complete shutdown of noise levels, the sound is more distant and less aggressive to the ear. They are our most efficient curtains. Now, each sound environment is different and the intricacies of one's home have to be taken into account. The noise does not come in simply from your windows but also seeps in through the wall and various openings (due to the construction of the building) and once in, the noise creates what's called a "rebound effect" bouncing multiple times off the wall, the floor, the ceiling.
