Moondream Soundproof Curtain

The Moondream Soundproof Curtain uses our own patented technology (U.S. Patent N° 9475260) with 3 layers of strategically assembled materials to obtain the best results in sound insulation that can be achieved with a fabric curtain. Our product has been tested by independant laboratories to confirm its perfomance.

Sound insulation: Noise reduced by four-fold, reaching a drop of up to 7 decibels (1). Reverberation of sound in the room reduced for a quieter atmosphere, e.g. for a surface area of approximately 215 ft² the reverberation time is reduced by 0.4 seconds (2).
Thermal insulation: Up to 37% reduction of heating costs in winter (3) and a drop in temperature during summer (4).
Light insulation: 100% blackout effect for improved sleep quality.

I've ordered Beige SOUNDPROOF Curtain Cotton Effect Eggshell MC634, 55" x 95", 2 panels, and it is one of my best and successful curtain purchases :) I didn't expect it to be soundproof because it is a fabric after all, but it does muffle sounds, especially people voices in the street. I can obviously hear vehicles passing by but it is not as annoying anymore. Have to mention though that I do have a double-pane window, so it works very well with the combination of these curtains. Besides, they just make my bedroom look nice and cozy. Just need to iron them once again: they do look much better without wrinkles

Sound, 7 decibels is not enough for people to feel. And since the inside is made of non-woven fabric and not the same fabric as the interior, the curtain looked too cheap when viewed from the outside. I wish there was an option to do the same fabric on both sides.

ordered standard 55" Width x 84". would preferred a little more fabric but wanted blackout curtains sooner to 65" Width x 84". but does the job for a good night's sleep. not really soundproof though but fabric is thick & layered.

Very well made curtains. Lovely material, nice hardware, true to what is advertised. Fairly good at muffling sounds, a great alternative when an actual door is not an option. Love the weight and the way they hang off the rod. Would definitely recommend.

I purchased these curtains after reading other reviews of how it has helped block out noise. I will agree that it does dampen out a little bit of noise but not enough to keep me asleep throughout the whole night. Great for blocking light not as much for noise.

They do block out a lot of noise and I'm happy with them. BUT, stop the ads on my computer. I've answered the Google questions over twenty times to stop the ads, but everyday, there are ten more.

It does it’s job well! I bought mine because I live close to a busy intersection. Had trouble sleeping the first two weeks in my apartment. Does not entirely block out sound but muffles it sufficiently to wear I sleep great without having to use noise canceling head phones. The color is nice and neutral and goes really well with my all white color scheme. It’s expensive but I would recommend
